The Gospel in Plain English
Christianity is good news, not self-improvement.
God is holy, and we have all sinned (Romans 3:23, ESV). Sin separates us from God, and the result is death (Romans 6:23, ESV). But God, in mercy, sent Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, to live sinlessly, die for sinners, and rise again (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, ESV). Salvation is not earned. We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9, ESV).

- Confess Jesus as Lord and follow Him (Romans 10:9, ESV)

What does it mean to follow Jesus?
Turning to Jesus includes repentance, faith in His death and resurrection, and confessing Him as Lord (Romans 10:9, ESV). If you want help with the next steps, feel free to reach out to us. We are happy to help.
